+ CUP FUN FACTS
Did you know?
It is important to boil your menstrual cup when you receive it for 5-10 minutes before use.
It’s recommended that you replace your menstrual cup every 6 months.
There are 3 different Kali cup sizes - small, medium, and large.
A small Kali cup is the right size if you are under the age of 18.
A medium Kali cup is the right size if you are 19 to 25 years old without kids.
A large Kali cup is the right size if you are either under the age of 25 with kids or older than 25.
Menstrual cup users still use other sanitary products during their period such as wipettes, liners, and regular tampons on lighter days.
It is important to clean your cup every 12 hours. Kali wipettes are great for cleaning your cup.
Also, after every cycle boiling it for 5-10 minutes can help keep it disinfected.
The menstrual cup gives you 12 hour leak protection.
+ 4 EASY STEPS
How to use the Kali cup
Wash hands. Fold the cup using a fold that works for you. Most people start with the c-fold.
As with a tampon, gently insert the folded cup into your vagina, tilting it back to the base of your spine. You want the cup to sit as low as it can comfortably. The stem should be fully inside you. When the cup is inside, it will pop open, creating a light suction. Twist or rotate the cup if you need to.
Use it for up to 12 hours.
With clean hands, remove and empty. Pull the stem of the cup downward until you can reach and grip the base. Pinch the base to release the suction and gently remove. Empty it in the toilet and wash. Reinsert.
